Baseball Recap: Ithaca Yellowjackets vs. Merrill Vandals
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Ithaca ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Merrill Vandals 6-4. This was payback for the Yellowjackets, who suffered a 4-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Ryley White made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. White was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
