It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Roosevelt can now relate to. They fell just short of the Smidt Tech Grey Wolves by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Rough Riders as the team haven't won a game since January 17th.

Their goal came courtesy of Nicolas Gonzales, who's now up to three this season.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Smidt Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Smidt Tech, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Math & Science College Preparatory at 11:00 a.m. Math & Science College Preparatory will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Smidt Tech surely won't give up without a fight.
