Baseball Recap: Nativity BVM Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mahanoy Area on Tuesday, Nativity BVM came back down to earth. The Green Wave came up short against the Tri-Valley Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 8-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Green Wave of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Nativity BVM saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RYAN EXAMITAS, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Nativity BVM's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Tri-Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Nativity BVM will face off against Marian Catholic at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri-Valley, they will square off against Southern Columbia Area at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 2.2, the Tigers 1.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
