West Lafayette took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They never let the Twin Lakes Indians get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for West Lafayette, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gaspar Hernandez and Leaf Mentzer scored both of West Lafayette's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Looking ahead, West Lafayette will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Speedway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Twin Lakes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Benton Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
