Baseball Recap: Admiral Farragut Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Admiral Farragut's offense. They came up short against the Bell Creek Academy Panthers on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the BlueJackets in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Admiral Farragut saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Davis, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Admiral Farragut's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Bell Creek Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Admiral Farragut will host Zephyrhills Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The BlueJackets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Bell Creek Academy, they will be playing at home against Butler at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
