Volleyball Recap: Archangels Catholic Comes Up Short

Archangels Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Central Valley Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Saturday.

Archangels Catholic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Archangels Catholic still got an impressive performance from Jayda Krings, who had 11 digs. Krings is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Archangels Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Central Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Archangels Catholic nor Central Valley have any future games scheduled.
