Brashear barely beat Carrick the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulls put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 19-10 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bulls, who have now won eight games by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Brashear's sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Carrick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Brashear is taking a road trip to take on Obama Academy of International Studies at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Bulls' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Carrick, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Seton LaSalle on the 8th.
