Softball Recap: Kern Valley Has No Trouble Against Boron

While Kern Valley put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Boron. The Broncs blew past the Bobcats 11-0. Considering the Broncs have won nine matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Kern Valley and bumps their season record up to 11-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Boron, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kern Valley will challenge rival Desert at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Boron is set to take on their familiar foe Rosamond at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
