Volleyball Recap: Montgomery County Comes Up Short

Montgomery County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Great Crossing Warhawks. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warhawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Montgomery County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-21, 27-25, 25-21.

Montgomery County's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Great Crossing, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Montgomery County nor Great Crossing have any future games scheduled.
