Soccer Recap: Monarch Wins Going Away Against Boyd Anderson

It's playoff time, and Monarch had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Boyd Anderson Cobras on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Their offense was hitting Boyd Anderson from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal.

Monarch's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-3. As for Boyd Anderson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13-1.

Monarch will take on Fort Lauderdale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boyd Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
