Softball Recap: Fillmore Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Fillmore's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Carpinteria Warriors get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Flashes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 11 runs or more this season.

Fillmore got a massive performance out of Azaria Aguilar, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jennie Ponce, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Fillmore was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .621. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

With the victory, Fillmore broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-9. As for Carpinteria, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
