After a string of four wins, Moffat's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 64-23 loss at the hands of the Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds. The Cowboys lost against the Thunderbirds in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 50-36 score last time.
