Basketball Recap: Red Springs Comes Up Short

Red Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 68-48 to the St. Pauls Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 66-41 loss two weeks ago.

St. Pauls' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Antwan Mckoy led the charge by putting up 15 points. Those 15 points gave Mckoy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tykeem Oxendine, who posted 12 points.

Red Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for St. Pauls, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.

As of now, neither Red Springs nor St. Pauls have any future games scheduled.
