Basketball Game Preview: Palm Desert Aztecs vs. Palm Springs Indians

Palm Desert hasn't had much luck against Palm Springs recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Palm Desert Aztecs will square off against the Palm Springs Indians at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Palm Desert's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.

On Monday, everything went Palm Desert's way against Shadow Hills as Palm Desert made off with a 68-42 victory. The Aztecs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Palm Springs waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 56-29 win over the Saints. The Indians is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the six match they've won by 20+ points or more this season.

Palm Desert is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Palm Springs, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
