Volleyball Game Preview: Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies vs. South Sioux City Cardinals

The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies will venture away from home to challenge the South Sioux City Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Elk Point-Jefferson saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northwestern Area.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14.

Meanwhile, South Sioux City suffered their biggest defeat since September 25th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Westview.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.

Elk Point-Jefferson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for South Sioux City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

Everything went Elk Point-Jefferson's way against South Sioux City when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Elk Point-Jefferson made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
