St. Patrick is a perfect 3-0 against Southern Valley since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Irish will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Patrick's is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Dundy County-Stratton just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 47-14 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The contest marked the Irish's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Southern Valley played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood], falling 42-6. The Eagles haven't had much luck with Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

St. Patrick's will have to contain Prestin Horwart as he made an impact in Southern Valley's last game. He rushed for 81 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Hunter Lans helped out on the ground, rushing for 94 yards.

Southern Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for St. Patrick's, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.
