Soccer Recap: Alpharetta Comes Up Short

Alpharetta lost against South Forsyth back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Alpharetta Raiders fell just short of the South Forsyth War Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alpharetta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for South Forsyth, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-3.

When Alpharetta and South Forsyth next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Alpharetta will challenge Lassiter and their five-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Forsyth will try to stop Brookwood's ten-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
