Western waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Everglades Gators with a sharp 26-6 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The critical scores for Western came from Ryan Stoker, Maddison Manragh, Ashley Smith, and Alana Placide.

Western didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Manragh and Smith.

Western pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Everglades, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats face off against the Panthers at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Palmetto: 5, Western: 4.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Everglades, they will face off against South Broward at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be South Broward's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
