Baseball Recap: Grand Valley Takes a Loss

Grand Valley fell victim to Grand Junction Central and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 13-0. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Warriors when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Grand Valley and nudges their season record down to 6-14. As for Grand Junction Central, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16.

Grand Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Meeker on the 6th. As for Grand Junction Central, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Montrose on the 6th.
