Football Preview: Wakeland Wolverines vs. Sherman Bearcats
The Wakeland Wolverines will head out on the road to challenge the Sherman Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wakeland has four straight victories, Sherman has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 495th, while the Rangers are ranked 36th).
Wakeland's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Sherman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
