Abington and Bishop Fenwick squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Abington had to settle for second. They fell 24-14 to the Crusaders. The Green Wave's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Abington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Bishop Fenwick, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Abington will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Whitman-Hanson Regional at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Bishop Fenwick, they will challenge Fairhaven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
