Basketball Recap: Horatio's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Horatio has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 55-34 to the Dierks Outlaws on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since November 19, 2024.

Horatio's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7. As for Dierks, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

Horatio and Dierks should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Horatio will square off against Caddo Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday up 124 places (82 vs. 206). Horatio will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Meanwhile, Dierks (ranked 29th) will meet Spring Hill (ranked 129th) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
