Football Game Preview: Cape Coral Seahawks vs. Ida Baker Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Cape Coral Seahawks will challenge the Ida Baker Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cape Coral is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Cape Coral made easy work of Mariner and carried off a 30-7 victory. Considering the Seahawks have won four games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cape Coral didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Almirian Thomas, Hezekiah Jones, and Jayden Reyes picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Ida Baker came up short against Avon Park on Friday and fell 29-19. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although Ida Baker took the loss, they still got scores from Nikolas Korf, Nick Velez, and Jimmy Hynes.

Ida Baker's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cape Coral, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Cape Coral strolled past Ida Baker in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 21-6. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
