Softball Recap: Livermore Comes Up Short

Livermore was the 3-0 winner over Amador Valley when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Cowboys fell 8-5 to the Dons on Friday. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Livermore saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laine Macosky, who went 2-for-3 with two runs. Payten Williams was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Livermore's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Amador Valley, their record now sits at 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Livermore will face off against rival Carondelet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Amador Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Monte Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
