Basketball Recap: Castle Rock Has No Trouble Against Stevenson

Castle Rock's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 60-37 margin over the Stevenson Bulldogs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rockets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Castle Rock's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Stevenson, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castle Rock will head out to square off against Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Castle Rock likes a good challenge. Stevenson has already played their next game (against Seton Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
