Basketball Recap: Royal Palm Beach's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Royal Palm Beach dropped to 4-2 on Monday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They took a 65-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Atlantic Christian Sharks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (60), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

As for Atlantic Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 59.0 points this season.

Atlantic Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Javian Cleveland, who shot 60% from the field en route to 24 points. Those 24 points gave Cleveland a new career-high. Jayon Wiiliams was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 19 points.

Coming up, Royal Palm Beach won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dwyer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
