James Clemens had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Austin on Friday. The Jets were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Black Bears. The win continues a trend for the Jets in their matchups with the Black Bears: they've now won six in a row.

Tyler Lewis looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had over his last four matchups.

At the plate, Matthew Drinkwater was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Hayden Udovich was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

James Clemens pushed their record up to 24-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Austin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season.
