Baseball Game Preview: Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros vs. La Quinta Aztecs

For the second straight game, Rancho Alamitos will face off against La Quinta. The Vaqueros will welcome the Aztecs at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rancho Alamitos is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against La Quinta on Tuesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aztecs.

Rancho Alamitos saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hector Galeano, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

La Quinta is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Rancho Alamitos, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
