Soccer Recap: Poston Butte Comes Up Short

Poston Butte fought the good fight in their overtime game against Maricopa on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Maricopa Rams by a score of 4-3. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Poston Butte's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Maricopa, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Poston Butte will head out on the road to challenge Cactus Shadows at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for Maricopa, they will welcome Canyon del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
