The Raleigh Christian Academy Eagles lost against Non Varsity Opponent two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Raleigh Christian Academy took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Raleigh Christian Academy in their matchups with Non Varsity Opponent: they've now lost three in a row.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Garris Massey, who scored 13 points along with two steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Massey has scored all season. Jonathan Hopkins was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.

Raleigh Christian Academy bumped their record down to 2-13 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.7 points per game. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 90-196-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raleigh Christian Academy will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to square off against Rochester School for the Deaf at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
