It was a good run, but Capital unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 9-5 to the Skyline Grizzlies.

Capital saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Werner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Werner is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Capital's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Skyline, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Capital has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Reynolds on the 21st. As for Skyline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-3 defeat against Boise on the 22nd.
