Waynedale won the last time they faced Rittman and things went their way on Thursday too. The Golden Bears came out on top against the Indians by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-13, 22-25, 25-19, 25-11.

Callie Wolfe paced Waynedale's offense, picking up 21 kills. Wolfe got some help from Sydnee Beckler and her 19 assists. Finally, Olivia Parry kept Waynedale's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Rittman's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mackenzie Beltz, who had 33 assists and 11 digs. Beltz is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.

Waynedale is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Rittman, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Waynedale will challenge New Philadelphia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rittman, they will face off against Plymouth at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
