The Claremont Wolfpack will take on the Walnut Mustangs in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Claremont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.

Claremont is headed into the matchup having not lost since the 1st and will look to keep things rolling. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Diamond Bar on Wednesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Claremont's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 204th, while Diamond Bar are ranked 629th).

Leonel Moran and Brody Frandsen scored all three of Claremont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Walnut kept a clean sheet against Glendora on Wednesday. They skirted past the Tartans 1-0. The victory continues a trend for Walnut in their matchups with Glendora: they've now won three in a row.

The win got Walnut back to even at 3-3-3. As for Claremont, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.
