Volleyball Recap: New Bern Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact New Bern can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Chapel Hill Tigers on Tuesday.

Peyton Finch paced New Bern's offense, picking up three kills. Finch got some help from Naomi Banks and her nine assists.

Chapel Hill found their leader in freshman Leila Tooloee, who had 24 assists and three aces. Tooloee is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

New Bern has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Chapel Hill, they pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

New Bern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chapel Hill, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Topsail on the 23rd.
