Softball Recap: Langley Saxons vs. Lake Braddock Bruins

Langley waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Lake Braddock Bruins. That's more bragging rights for the Saxons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Norah Jacques was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run.
