Kapaun Mt. Carmel never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Gardner-Edgerton on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers as they made off with a 61-39 win. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Gardner-Edgerton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Emmy Holle, who posted five points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kylie Kyle, who earned eight points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season. As for Gardner-Edgerton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel will be playing at home against South at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gardner-Edgerton, they will challenge Shawnee Mission East on Tuesday.
