Pine Ridge took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They took down the Matanzas Pirates 18-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

The critical scores for Pine Ridge came from Greta Carlson, Kazzandra Tapia, and Thalia Rios-Diaz.

Matanzas dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pine Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 64-0 win against Trinity Christian Academy on the 24th. As for Matanzas, they will face off against Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
