Belfry never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the PikeView Panthers. Considering the Pirates have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Belfry and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for PikeView, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belfry will welcome Tolsia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belfry's pitchers better be ready for this one: Tolsia has averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for PikeView, they will be playing at home against Bluefield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
