Recap: Fairview Eagles vs. Hillman Tigers
The Fairview Eagles suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 70-40 loss at the hands of Hillman. Fairview was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.
It was another big night for Trenton Taratuta, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 15 rebounds for Hillman. Taratuta is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brenden Rouleau, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Fairview's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8. As for Hillman, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Fairview will head out on the road to challenge Alcona at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillman, they will be playing at home against Rogers City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
