Softball Recap: Woodstock Academy Comes Up Short

Woodstock Academy was the 7-3 winner over West Haven when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Centaurs fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. The Centaurs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Bloom was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellary Sampson, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Woodstock Academy's record now sits at 8-12. As for West Haven, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-12.

As of now, neither Woodstock Academy nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
