Baseball Recap: Pace Comes Up Short

Pace's last matchup with Donna could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Vikings came up short against the Redskins, falling 9-2. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Redskins: they've now lost six in a row.

Pace saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Horner, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Donna, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pace will face off against Porter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Donna, they will host Weslaco East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
