Recap: Lafayette Rams vs. York Falcons
The Lafayette Rams were handed a three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against the York Falcons on Thursday. Lafayette blew past York, posting a 71-18 victory on the road. That looming 71-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lafayette yet this season.
Lafayette's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenzie Charity, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was MaKayla Keys, who scored 15 points along with six steals.
The victory got Lafayette back to even at 8-8. As for York, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette will take on Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grafton is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for York, they will be playing at home against Tabb at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
