Basketball Recap: Holt Takes a Loss

Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand Ledge Comets. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Holt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Grand Ledge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Holt will be home for the holidays to greet Lansing Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Ledge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 79-57 loss against Ferndale on the 14th.
