Recap: Da Vinci Dragons vs. Americas Trail Blazers
The Da Vinci Dragons lost against the Americas Trail Blazers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Da Vinci was beaten by Americas 74-32. Da Vinci has not had much luck with Americas recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Americas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was BRADY DUGGAN out in front who scored 16 points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was JOSH PICHARDO, who scored 17 points.
Da Vinci has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season. As for Americas, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home.
Da Vinci will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Tournament Team on January 4th. Tournament Team is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for Americas, they will head out on the road to face off against Socorro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Socorro will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 879th, while Americas is ranked 119th).
