Softball Recap: West Orange Falls Short of Olympia in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Orange can now relate to. They came up short against the Olympia Titans on Monday, falling 10-3. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Cali Flowers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

West Orange's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Olympia, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-15.

West Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olympia, they will face off against East Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
