Triad Baptist Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Hilltop Christian Chargers by a score of 52-40 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won six games in a row.

Collin Morrison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8-for-10 to rack up 29 points. What's more, he also posted an 80% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024. Jayden Pringle was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.

When it comes to explaining why Hilltop Christian lost, don't look at Caleb Manriquez. Despite the final result, he shot 44% from the field en route to 25 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joseph McCabe, who posted four points and seven boards.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 29-8. As for Hilltop Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 24-5 record.
