Softball Recap: Franklin Sets Scoring Season-High Against Wayne Memorial

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin). They were the clear victors by a 20-3 margin over the Wayne Memorial Zebras on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Patriots' seventh straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The team relied heavily on Grace Wonfor, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenna Moore, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Wayne Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

As of now, neither Franklin nor the Zebras have any future games scheduled.
