Softball Recap: Isabella Williams Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Graceville

Sneads's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Graceville Tigers get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Pirates' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Naryah Dudley was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Dudley was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Isabella Williams was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Six bases. while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was JaVayah Johnson, who scored three runs and stole Eight bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Sneads' win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Graceville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sneads will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Port St. Joe at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Graceville, they will face off against Geneva County at 12:00 p.m. on March 22nd.
