Basketball Game Preview: Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets vs. Pandora-Gilboa Rockets

Cory-Rawson is 1-8 against Pandora-Gilboa since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets at 7:15 p.m.

Cory-Rawson is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They took a 62-47 bruising from Upper Scioto Valley. One positive for the Fighting Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Pandora-Gilboa didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Riverdale on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

Pandora-Gilboa now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cory-Rawson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Cory-Rawson was dealt a bruising 59-27 loss at the hands of Pandora-Gilboa in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Cory-Rawson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
