With a playoff win on the line, Lake Norman rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the North Mecklenburg Vikings. Lake Norman might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit North Mecklenburg with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aaron Seaman (2), Garrett Klopp, and Ryan Conway.

The victory was the 12th in a row for Lake Norman, bringing their record up to 18-1-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 53 goals over those 12 contests. As for North Mecklenburg, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8-2.
